She can be either the ally of Regret if the player chose the bad path. Gamevil originally named her Vicious on Zenonia 1 but they changed it to Vishu on Zenonia S. Vishu was the assasin on Zenonia 1 which was the ally of Lord Virulent seeking for Regret's whereabouts. He remains as the same magic class, but instead of using his orbs he wields a gauntlet similar to Morpice. Neal was the son of Lu, and protected his sister during the Asterian invasion in the previous installment. His outfit remains the same, the only exception is he now has earrings. He is also a martial artist that mainly uses his knuckles for fighting. He is well known for being the descendant of the Minotaur tribe, a half-human and animal tribe. (Dexterity)ĭaza is a short, muscular and well built man with white hair. While she's shown to have long straight hair, she has curls and a strand sticking up in her in -ame sprite. (Strength)Įcne also return with a complete redesign. He now wears silver armor covering both his arms and uses a Great Sword for his weapon of choice. Regret returns with an appearance similar to his first game counterpart. From learning of the existence of Osiris Shards, shards of infinite power that may restore the hero's memory, the hero sets on a quest to aid the Celestials, bring an end to the Dragonbloods and retrieve the Osiris Shards to retain his/her memories. However, through falling through time the hero loses his/her memory.
However, a time rift appears bringing heroes and a fairy from the past and future to the two sides' world. (I'm hoping for a Four Job Fiesta-type social experience for this one.In the past two groups of beings: Celestials and Dragonbloods have been fighting for generations, attempting to conquer one another's land. I'm sure another similar sale will happen again in the future, but as others have said, this is one of the best FF releases in a long while despite being a mobile game. All chapters were on sale recently for $9.99 total, which I jumped on immediately. If you dig FFV for instance, this is an easy recommendation. It's a massive game with an expanded job system over other FF games. Haven't purchased either though.įF Dimensions is fantastic.
I played them on DS, but the higher resolution of the iPad/iPhone seems to have benefited(notably FF4).
#ZENONIA 1 SPRITES PATCH#
Faster than the PSP port for sure(unless they patched?) New high-res patch too, but it isn't super noticeable outside of direct comparison.Ĭurious about FF3/FF4 ports. A bit awkward the way you select from menus, but you condition to it. Snappy with improved camera functionality. I'll get mobbed, but I much prefer this version to the GBA for comfort, screen size/resolution, and the upgraded art.įFT is a nice port. Redesigned interface for touch is nice and functional. Spells and effects are also redone and really pop off the screen. Portraits in dialogue are also gorgeous(even if Amano's artwork rarely is representative of the character sprites). But seriously, the enemy sprites and backdrops in combat look stunning. Crazy people will bitch about the character sprites, which rightly so are not given equally strong updates as.well -everything- else. Been playing iOS version of FFV on the iPad for the Four Job Fiesta, and I really dig the port a lot.
